Voor ons schitterende hotel in Amsterdam zoeken wij een Portier! Weet jij een lach op het gezicht te brengen door je aanwezigheid en haal je energie uit het leveren van de beste eerste indruk? Wij zijn dan op zoek naar jou om ons team te versterken!

Wat ga je doen?

Als portier/conciërge ben jij het eerste gezicht dat onze gasten zien bij hun aankomst. Je verwelkomt hen hartelijk, verzorgt hun bagage en parkeert hun auto’s op verzoek. Je biedt uitstekende service door het geven van toeristische informatie, het maken van restaurantreserveringen en het beantwoorden van andere vragen. Daarnaast zorg je voor de veiligheid van ons hotel door toezicht te houden op bezoekers en ongewenste personen te signaleren en indien nodig te verwijderen. Als portier/conciërge ben jij dus de spil in de gastbeleving en een belangrijk aanspreekpunt binnen ons hotel!

Waar ga je dit doen?

In het voormalige Scheepvaarthuis van Amsterdam is nu één van de meest iconische vijfsterren-hotels van Amsterdam gevestigd, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Het hotel beschikt over 205 luxe kamers, waarvan 22 suites, 8 vergader- en evenementen zalen, Bar Lounge en een Spa & Wellness centre. Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam ligt op slechts 500 meter van het Centraal Station, is goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg. What will you be doing?  

As a doorman, you are the first point of contact for our guests and the face of our hotel. You welcome everyone with a warm smile and offer help where needed, whether it is carrying luggage, parking the car or walking to the reception or another area in the hotel. The ability to put a smile on the faces of our guests is an indispensable skill. In addition, many guests will have questions about the city of Amsterdam and the hotel itself. Your extensive knowledge of the city and the hotel's facilities ensures that you can always provide our guests with useful and accurate information, making their stay even more pleasant. You also have an eye for safety and detail.

In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

• Je hebt óf horecaervaring, óf veel zin om dit te leren van een betrokken team.
• Je bent vlot in de omgang en hebt een gastvrije instelling. Het zit in jouw DNA om net dat beetje extra te doen voor de gast.
• Je bent flexibel; een weekenddienst of werken op een feestdag schrikt je niet af.
• Je hebt goede kennis van de Nederlandse en/of Engelse taal. Spreek jij een extra taal? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!

Your qualifications  

• Your knowledge of the city of Amsterdam will certainly come in handy.  
• You have a keen eye for detail and a warm, welcoming attitude. 
• A valid driver’s license is required.  
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English. Speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!
