As a Structural Engineer Construction, also known as a Constructeur or Constructief Ingenieur, you will work on complex building projects while developing your expertise in structural design, structural calculations and sustainable engineering. As a Structural Engineer Construction, you will be responsible for designing, analysing and calculating safe, efficient and sustainable building structures. Working for our partner, you will contribute to commercial buildings, industrial facilities, residential developments and renovation projects. As a Constructeur, you will perform structural calculations for reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures while ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and international building standards. You will create structural designs, develop technical solutions and optimise building performance throughout every phase of the project. Using engineering software such as Revit, SCIA Engineer, Tekla Structures, RFEM and AutoCAD, you will produce structural models, technical drawings and engineering documentation. As a Constructief Ingenieur, you will collaborate closely with architects, BIM Modelers, project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams. You will review technical designs, perform structural analyses, visit construction sites and contribute to innovative engineering solutions that improve safety, sustainability and efficiency. Depending on your experience, you will also coach junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards.Jouw werkzaamheden
As a structural engineer construction, constructeur or constructief ingenieur your responsibilities will be:
- Design structural systems for commercial, industrial and residential construction projects;
- Perform structural calculations, analysis and engineering assessments;
- Develop structural designs for concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures;
- Create and review technical drawings and 3D BIM models using engineering software such as Revit;
- Collaborate with architects, BIM Modelers, project managers and other engineering disciplines;
- Conduct site visits, structural inspections and technical evaluations during project execution;
- Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes, building regulations and quality standards;
- Contribute to innovative, sustainable engineering solutions while supporting projects from concept through construction.
Wat heb jij in huis?
To start working as structural engineer construction, constructeur or constructief ingenieur we expect you to bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Building Engineering;
- Experience with structural calculations, structural analysis and engineering design;
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel, timber and masonry structures;
- Experience with Revit, SCIA Engineer, Tekla Structures, RFEM, AutoCAD or similar engineering software;
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary project environments;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- You are currently living and the netherlands and have good Dutch language proficiency
