You receive a base salary between €50,000 and €60,000 per year, depending on experience. On top of that, there is a performance-based bonus structure with very high earning potential. Strong performance is directly reflected in your total compensation.

Who you’ll work with

You’ll join a sales-driven, international team focused on acquiring new business clients that operate across borders. You work closely with experienced colleagues in sales, account management and market specialists, learning how complex financial products are positioned and sold.

What you’ll do day to day

As a Junior Business Developer, you are responsible for building new client relationships from the ground up. You proactively identify potential clients, approach them directly and guide them from first contact through onboarding.

You research companies and sectors to understand their exposure to foreign currencies and international payments. You present solutions related to foreign exchange, risk management, international payments and financing. Where deals become more complex, you work together with senior colleagues to close them successfully.

You stay closely aligned with account management teams to ensure new clients start trading smoothly and develop into long-term relationships. Over time, you build strong market knowledge and keep clients informed about currency movements relevant to their business.

Your growth path

Your performance is measured on activity, quality and new business generation. The revenue generated by the clients you bring in plays a key role in your development.

As you grow, you can move into more senior sales roles, specialise in specific sectors or markets, or transition into account management or market-facing roles. Progression speed depends entirely on performance and capability.

Who this role suits

This role suits you if you’re a graduate or have one to two years of experience in a B2B sales environment and are motivated to build a career in fintech or financial services. You are commercially minded, resilient and driven to succeed.

You communicate confidently in German and English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus, but not required. You enjoy speaking with new people, are curious about finance and economics, and feel comfortable working towards clear targets in a fast-paced environment. You hold a degree-level education and are eager to keep learning.
