We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer who is fluent in Dutch to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
💼 Role Overview
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
Work with J2EE and Spring Boot frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
✅ Required Skills & Experience
8–10 years of experience in Core Java development
Strong hands-on experience with J2EE and Spring Boot
Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
🌟 Nice to Have
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Knowledge of cloud platforms or DevOps practices

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
