We are seeking an experienced Specialist in Data, Information, and Asset Management to support infrastructure-related projects within the domains of water safety and bridge construction. The role focuses on ensuring accurate data delivery, validation, integration, and management across multiple systems, contributing to successful project execution and lifecycle asset management.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing and improving the flow of data and information related to infrastructure assets, ensuring quality, compliance, and usability across systems and stakeholders.

Core Tasks

• Deliver and validate asset data for infrastructure projects.

• Ensure proper integration of data into management systems.

• Review and assess data submitted by external contractors.

• Provide acceptance decisions on delivered datasets.

• Support project teams with data-related insights and improvements.

• Develop and improve data, information, and asset management specifications.

Deliverables

Monthly

• Improvement proposals for contract specifications (Data, Information & Asset Management)

• “Lessons learned” reports from ongoing data transfers

• Progress and assessment reports of data governance processes per project

Quarterly

• Contract specifications for data and asset management

• Data landscape input instructions for systems

• Validation of client requirement specifications (area data)

• Preparation of area data dossiers for procurement

• Team presentations with improvement recommendations

• Cybersecurity awareness and instruction materials

• Risk assessments and mitigation plans related to data management

• Initial datasets for project assets (for contract inclusion)

• Reviews of contractor documentation and delivered datasets

• Acceptance assessments of submitted data

• Final validated data integration into management systems

Bi-Annual

• Metadata lists and system linkage documentation

• Instructions for system transitions and integrations

• Alignment of contract texts related to metadata

• Initiation and coordination of data startup sessions with stakeholders

Annual

• Structural documentation for project data delivery and handover

Requirements

• Completed relevant Master’s degree (WO level)

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in:

  • Data Management and Information Management

  • Asset Management within the civil engineering sector

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with data/system integrations (e.g., GIS and asset systems)

• Knowledge of data modeling standards and frameworks

• Extensive experience with condition assessments and asset structuring methodologies

• Proven experience in drafting and managing contract specifications for data and asset management

• Valid VCA VOL certification (Safety for Operational Supervisors)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling and structuring large datasets into clear management insights

• Familiarity with document management and project information systems

• Experience working with or for public sector organizations or infrastructure clients

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to navigate complex organizational environments and influence decision-making
