We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer to join a large enterprise environment in Amsterdam. This role requires a strong technical professional with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Azure DevOps, who is comfortable working in Agile teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role (1 day onsite) and offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-based microservices architecture within a corporate banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices applications using Spring Boot
Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Work with Azure DevOps for repository management, code reviews, and deployments
Ensure end-to-end delivery, including development, deployment, and post-go-live maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Interact with stakeholders and provide technical insights and analysis
Required Skills
✔ Strong experience with Java 8 or higher
✔ Extensive knowledge of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
✔ Experience developing REST and SOAP Web Services
✔ Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repository, deployment, code review)
✔ Experience with CI/CD pipelines
✔ Strong knowledge of Git concepts
✔ Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Docker concepts
✔ Experience using Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE
✔ Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
Preferred Experience
